47+ Playoffs: Blue Thunder 4, Silver Marlins 10

The Silver Marlins won a hard fought semi final game against the Blue Thunder 10-4. The game wasn't put away until the 6th inning when the Marlins exploded for 4 runs. For the Marlins, Dougie Z went 2-3 with 2 RBI's, Dave Schindler had a triple and Ted Poleto 2-3 with a double. Dennis Scimeca went the distance for the Marlins giving up 4 hits, 6 K's, 1 walk and 2 earned runs.

The Teal is looking to make it a clean sweep in all three age brackets, the first in franchise history... stay tuned...

Don't forget that the Golden Marlins won the Labor Day Tourney. Maybe the WhizKids shouldn't even bother to show up. Oh well, I guess that's why they play the games.
