The Golden Marlins used another huge performance from Phil Gadomski to get by the Dodgers 12-3, at the Satelite field on Sunday. Phil pitched six innings giving up 3 runs (only two were earned), while he also went 3-4 at the plate with a, single, double, triple, and a walk, driving in 4 runs, and scoring 4 more. Mash moves his record to 3-0 on the mound, while going 9-13 at the plate. If he isn't the early season front runner for the league MVP, then he certainly is one of the top few. John Reel also went 3-4, with a double, two singles, two runs and one RBI. Mike Ferraro, Ron Lochner, and Mike Clary also had two hits each for the Fish. With the win and a Giants loss to the Reds, The Golden Marlins take over sole possession of first place.
