We are putting the finishing touches on a 35+ team for the Maine Down East Baseball Classic, and need a pitcher or two, and maybe one outfielder. The player fee is only $ 60.00 per player. We will play 3 round robin games on Saturday, July 2nd thru Sunday, July 3rd. The Semi-finals and Finals are on Monday the 4th. Please call Mike Girard @ 441-1044 right away if you are interested. Pitching staff is complete (unless J.J. or Shook aren't busy that weekend). We could use an outfielder and/or a catcher. This will be a contending team without anyone else joining, but we are older than most of the teams we will play against and could use some depth. Only two spots left on the roster. Thanks for the response! One spot left, and that is for a catcher to share the duties with Mike Ferraro. We are most likely playing 5 games in 3 days, and having 2 quality catchers would be great.
