Sorry about late posting of this but I had a power outage in my area yesterday afternoon until about 3:30 this morning.

This year, rather than pick the teams I am letting the manager's choose their teams prior to the start of the game by means of tossing a bat and going hand over hand until they reach the knob of the bat handle, or until their complete hand cannot fit under the knob. The winner will choose first then the other manager will choose and it will continue in that order until all players have been chosen.

All player's who are not members of CDMSBL will have to sign liability waivers. Of course, father's will sign for their underage son's.

Special rules:

7 inning games.

Pitching: Sons can pitch no more than 4 innings combined.

Batting: No more than 2 sons can bat consecutively.

Courtesy Runners: 2 allowed. If a player gets hurt during the game I have no problem with extra courtesy runner. For a son it will be the last batted out. For a father it will be the last father batted out. Sons may not pinch run for fathers.

Defense: Must be a minimum of 4 fathers on defense at all times.

Offense: All players must have an at-bat.

Hot Dogs and hamburgers will be provided at no cost. Please bring your own beverages.

There will be T-shirts on sale for a nominal fee.

Umpires: 10:00 Dunham, Cellantano
1:00 Reel, Konstantakis

Players in the first game please get there earlier than 10:00 because the game will start at that hour. Likewise for the second game.

Looks like the weather will cooperate so let's have a great day at the ballpark.
