Quick note of Thanks! to Ron Coon and the rest of the orange crew in Kingston. After our game last week, they hosted what could be best described as a carnivore's delight. There must have been 30 pounds of various meats, started off with some of the best hamburgers I have ever had - and anyone who knows me knows I've had more than a few. Ron's concoction of venison, homegrown angus beef, and some other ingredients - wow.
Not to be outdone, the rest of the 'Birds showed up with venison sticks, a variety of sausages, macaroni salad - I'd type more but I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.
Was a great way to end the night, and hope to do it with more teams. Always a joy to head down to Kingston, top notch field and First Class hosts.
Thanx for posting Tommy. You are right. In all the years I've been in this league, traveling to Kingston has never been an issue. Great people, hosts and field. And those burgers could make Ron a zillion dollars! jimk
I agree. Thanks to Ron and all the Humminbirds for their hospitality. Absolutely the best burgers I've EVER had. Good luck in the playoffs fellas! Nice to meet Eddie and Frnk at the All-Star game the following day. I'm glad I'll never have to face that line-up again. :)
