I would like to thank the 35+ division (especially Commissioner Tommy Smith & Don Wixon) for the very generous donation of $300 to Equinox Inc. (where I work). Equinox is a non-profit organization relying on Frderal Grants, county funds and private donations. This money is greatly appreciated and has been earmarked for our rock climbing wall fund - great job guys. Not only do we get to play baseball in our old age. We get to transcend the game for some really great causes. Thank you all very much.

Secondly, I'd like to thank everyone who donated new and used softball equipment to Equinox Inc. (Youth Outreach Program) . The bats, balls, helmets and gloves have already been put to good use - we played a couple of games last week (I went 0-4 of course). The kid's had a great time and it would not have been possible if you guys had not taken the time to dig up, dig out, uncover and remember to get the equipment to me somehow.
