BlueJays Top BlackSox 9-6

On Sunday morning in an exciting game which went 10 innings after a 7th inning comeback by the BlueJays to tie the game they went on to win 9-6 behind the hitting and pitching of John Weber. After starters Artie Gianakos left in the 5th inning John Weber came in relief and shut down the BlackSox the rest of the game. John had 3 hits in the game including a booming double in the gap with the bases loaded to clear the bases in the seventh inning. Jerry solomon started for the BlackSox and pitched I believe the first 4 innings and Joe Hauser finished for the BlackSox. Overall a nice team effort.

The BlueJays have now won 4 straight and moved their record to 7-6. BlueJays will meet
BlackSox again this Sunday in what could be another exciting and fun game.

Artie G.
