The much anticipated game between the Dodgers and Indians took place at Bob Moore and was a barn burner with the Indians coming out on top 12-3. The score doesn't reflect how close this was. Mickey Novak and Greg Witalec were both on top of their games. We took a 1-0 lead after the 1st on a RBI single by Quentin Jensen who was 3-3 with a intentional walk. It stayed that way until the 5th when the dodgers plated 3 led by a 2run dinger by Mickey. We then scored 4 in the bottom helped by 3 walks 2 with the bases loaded as Mickey tired and a 2run double by Paul Giroux. Nick Matthews pitched the final 1/23 to get save and hit a long HR in the bottom of the 6th as we plated 7 more to put it out of reach. Great game! We play Cubs tom @ Schenectady Babe Ruth for another tough game. Good luck Dodgers see ya for second thrilling match up.
