Looking for a team

With the recent disbanding of the Cardinals (the team I was going to join), I'm now in the process of finding a team to play for. I'm 33 years old, and my wife and I have recently moved to the area (she's from Clifton Park originally), and I'm just dropping you a line to see if you could use a player for next season and beyond. My natural position is as an outfielder where I played in high school, American Legion, at Hartwick College, and in the semi-pro Intercity League in Massachusetts. For those teams, I primarily batted leadoff and second in the order and played all outfield positions. Near the end of my time in the Intercity League, I made the move to third base (because nobody else was crazy enough to do it) and have been playing third and short primarily for the last eight years in both the Hudson Valley Baseball League and the Houston MSBL where I generally batted third and fourth in the lineup. I'd be happy to be any kind of hitter you'd like (run producer, table setter, etc.) and could play any position you need (with the exception of catcher... I've been banned from it by my wife... Bad knees), and you probably wouldn't want to resort to me on the mound either (it's generally a sign that a team is desperate when I'm called in from the bullpen). I'm generally good for .400 / 2 / 12 with 20 runs scored and 6 or 8 steals on a 20-game season (I walk and get hit by pitches often and don't strike out much). Please let me know if you need a player. If you are and need to see me play, I'd be happy to try out (or whatever you need to see).

Thanks,
Keith Landry
