While a lot of you have been enjoying the warm weather in Arizona and Florida recently your BOD have been busy via email on some league business. Recently representatives from the league met with the Scotia-Glenville Babe Ruth regarding the use of Bob Moore Field for next season. The reps for the field asked that we as a league give a $3400 deposit for next years use. It was asked by the league reps that this deposit be payed out of the Board Designated Fund and would be reimbursed from next years league fees. It was understood that the up front money was to be used for field repairs that were to begin immediately on receiving the funds. By doing this the Babe Ruth offered the same field usage fees as were in place for this year for next years baseball season. On Tuesday October 16, 2018 a check was sent with the understanding that the $3400 is an upfront payment for the use of Bob Moore field for the 2019 baseball season. The cost of usage is: $75 for a single game, $110 for a stand alone night game and $75 for a day double header. Also, in 2019 if the field is not available any deposit or left over balance will be returned to CDMSBL immediately. With this money a drainage project for Bob Moore was started immediately. This was approved by the BOD.
