A ring for Geannelis

Congrats to Pete Geannelis and his son Mike for winning the Father-Son Tournament in Tempe, Arizona this past week. Mike was 2-for-4 with 4 RBI in championship game win over Mexico, and he pitched the win over Minnesota in the semifinals. Pete, who is making the trip to Florida next week with the Albany Cubs in the MSBL 55-over tourney, played 1B, 3B and pitched for the Maine team coached by Clair Crandall.

Congrats, buddy! It is a feeling that you will never forget!
Doing it with your son, is a hell of a cherry on top!

Wow, Nice Pete! that Father/Son Division competition is some of the best you'll experience. Its now the most popular division happening in AZ. Good to see the international involvement as teams form Australia, Mexico, Venezuela, Holland, Puerto Rico, and various other Carribean countries have participated. Thanks to Claire for having our guys on board thru the years too. Maybe CDMSBL should look into next years Father Son division and sponsor a team! Pete Im proud of you.
