That's "catch" as in...behind the plate.

Hey, guys, our regular catcher, Greg Allen--you know Greg, a great guy!--can't make it on Sunday. So how about one of you talented and eager 45+ or 55+ catchers lending us a hand? You will be greeted with open arms and applauded for your efforts by the entire team--and that's no joke!

Hey, guys, I'm very sorry. Greg just phoned and he said he can make the game after all. My thanks to all of you who read my post for nothing.

But keep me in mind if this ever happens again. Greg usually misses one game a season.

And a shout out to another wonderful guy, Jack Griffen. Hey, Jack, I've got a pop with your name on it! When do we play you guys again?
