Angels lost 9-4 to Benwood in our last Round Robin game Wednesday before heading into Thursday's playoffs with a 3-2 record.
In the first game, Angels got back on track with a 5-4 win over the San Diego Heat, which finished 4-1 in the other half of the Cactus Division. Then came a rematch with Benwood with Paladin waiting for the winner. Championship game is Friday.
Benwood scored two in the first and that's all they needed in its 3-0 win.
Still, a great baseball experience and a lot of laughs off the field. Already looking forward to next season.
