Albany Capitals

Good luck to our own Albany Capitals at Hobbs in Ft Myers led by John Cortese. Loaded with familiar faces from our 45 division.

Now 2-2 heading into this morning's game.

How about some hot stove reporting on the games to give us guys stuck up north a taste of the baseball we are missing? At least tell us what my man Weber has been cooking up.

Hi from sunny Ft Myers!
Albany Caps are representing this week.
Very evenly matched teams fighting all week.
2 and 2 Caps lose yesterday to the Windy City Warriors in the last inning on miscues from some guy at ss throwing laser over 1st base to blow a 2 run lead.
Now 2 and 3 Caps have a mental day to get ready for tomorrows playoffs.
Johnny Cortese doing excellent job keeping everyone ready.
Ronnie Mazz who started last Sunday with a gem, goes tomorrow.
Nice combo of talent down here, weather has been spot on.
Cant wait to we play tomorrow.

Leave it to Ralphie to throw himself under the bus. We should all be so lucky to have your ''laser.'' Thanks for the update Mr. Caputo. Good luck to you and your teammates in the ''post-season.''

This john cortese here writing with Ralphie's log in info. Sorry for the lack of updates on the board. I lack in the writing skills to the ikes of tim brown and mike girard and jimmy preller. The capitals team made of 12 cdmblers(john cortese, john weber 2019 RH MVP, tim burns, shawn martin, jim terserio, pat alston, dave reed, and rookies gene hallenbeck, fred muller, jim hicks, ron massironi and ralph caputo and 3 free agents for around the US/world (tom alambama), jim (california) and youri (bulgeria). We finished the seating 2 and 3, had oppruntinty to be 4 and 1. But struggle at times with our defense. Our offense has been on spot with a team average of 300 plus. Playoffs start on friday. We are the 4th seed in the double A divison. We get a bye in the 1st round, which is nice saves our pitching arms. On the bump for the first game is johnny weber. I will send more updates after tomorrows game.
Thank you all for the support.
John cortese
Manager, albany capitals

Hey John;
Congrats to ya for getting the Caps in
the playoffs! Great bunch of guys and
sending some Albany mojo your way.
Nice to have an all star vet on the bump like
John for game one.
I predict Ralph delivers the walk off!
Raise some hell boys.
