Sad News

Kathy Nicholsen, Wayne Nicholsens wife, passed away yesterday in Florida. She had undergone major surgery last week in an attempt to improve her quality of life after suffering from a particularly harsh form of asthma for many years. Wayne had been her primary caregiver over the past few years. They were extremely close knowing each other since childhood. Services for Kathleen Nicholsen will be held on April 30 near their home in Greenville, N.Y., with burial the next day, May 1.

Wayne did mention to me that he looks forward to playing baseball in the 55s this coming season and feels that the experience will help him to manage the future a little easier.

My deep condolences, Wayne. From experience, I know how hard asthma can be. I don't doubt that your wife was very brave,
and that you were a fine caretaker. May her spirit now care for you.

-Mike
