That seems to be the question. On 6/8 with an ever changing forecast , Steve Van Gelder 62 Yanks and Dave Plew 62 Peppers were in contact during the day as to play or not to play. Decision to play was made, with many text following from players that how hard it was raining where they were, my response was "good that we're not playing there"...One umpire called and said we were not going to get the game in. .. A Diamond area was dry on our arrival . Game on. Good play by both teams. Yanks scored 2 in the top of the 3rd. Peppers answered with 1 in the bottom and 2 more in the 4th. It started to rain. Umps said this is the last inning at the start of the 6th. Yanks even it up in the top of the inning. Peppers score 1 , game over Peppers Win 4-3 ...first win this season. Thanks to Steve and the Yanks for a great game. Thanks to the Umpires for their hard work. Thanks to all the Peppers who each contributed either in the field or at the plate and on the bases. Dave Plew 62 Peppers
