I just wanted to take a second and wish everyone in the CDMSBL age divisions and great upcoming season. Sometimes we take this game for granted and that's a sin. I don't know about the rest of you, but I still get the "butterflies" the night before Opening Day, not to mention, not a lot of sleep.
Hope all you players stay healthy, play hard and most of all, have fun!!
I want to second the jitter's as we get ready for what should be a very exciting season. I wish all teams the best and hopefully we have injury free seasons.Good luck to all and may the best TEAM WIN. See you all on the field. GO MET'S
First off it was great to be back on the field after a LONG layoff. I just want to say thank you to Joe Fitz for working hard to make our league a success, we take all that work for granted sometimes and I just wanted to let him know we appreciate it. It was terrific seeing the Orioles yesterday, you guys have a great team as usual and we always need to be at our best when we face you. Hope everyone has a fun and competitive season. Kevin
I also would like to thank Fitzy, Jim, and Bryce for all their work in getting things together for the league this year. I know just managing a team is alot of work let alone the entire league. So Thanks to all of you for your time and effort. Good luck to all the teams and have a safe but competitive season
Jitters? Joey, I believe they call that the shakes! And as far as the sleep... You need to leave the Black Bear Inn before 3am, my man. - LOL.
Joey, Bryce and Jim, you've done a good job to get the 28-division to this point. Your time is much appreciated. Getting the season started feels great, and having a league to play baseball in, for all ages, is even better. And, seeing my buddy Moon Unit take the mound after a serious scare last year -- PRICELESS! So, good luck to all - lets have a safe clean season.
Dabs, if you're out there, quit hitting the ball so damn far... my guys get tire of chasing those damn things !!
Also, Classy move in the 47-Division remembering Jimmy Jordan. He definitely left his mark in this league. He was a character with character, and will definitely be missed.
