I will be putting Wayne Nicholsens name forward as candidate for CDMSBL Hall Off Fame. Wayne will turn 70 this coming February and has been playing in the 55s for many many years coming from a championship fast pitch softball background making the transition to hardball. He has continued to improve as a pitcher as evidenced by an 11-3 regular season record over the past 2 years in the 55s while fielding his position like a magician the great majority of the time. He is also still a legitimate .300+ hitter. But, more than that, Wayne is a man who is known for exemplary sportsmanship, fierce competitiveness, and loyal friendship. It is time.
