Wayne Nicholson stopped the Pirates cold at the plate and the Arachnids out-played the Pirates on defense and offense. They advance to play an equally skilled and deserving Yankees in the 62 finals. Darrell Duncan and Jim Wing collected multiple hits and scored multiple runs. Bill Farrell continued his strong pitching playoff run for the Pirates, finishing with three playoff victories. Hats off to the Pirates. Jimmy D. has done an outstanding job with his 62+ Pirates this season as evidenced by their deep run in the playoffs. A team of good men who play the game the right way. They will bring a team to reckon with next year.
