Tommy, left you a voice mail. This news is horrible. My prayers, thoughts and positive energy are with the entire Maney family. If there is anything I can do, please do not hesitate to call. I'll be in touch. jk

I believe in the power of prayer the absolute goodness of God. The fact that Timmy had some movement in his extremities gives us hope. Without hope and our faith we have nothing. God performs miracles and the first one is he allowed us to see a glimpse of what He can do when the feet and hands had movement and feeling. I am praying with you and all of our baseball family who love you and have been touched by you in so many ways over the the years. Hall of fame person is more important than any trophy or ring as we all know and you epitomize that Tommy. We all unite in prayer for Timmy. I love you and our heart aches with your family but my belief is in our united prayer to see Timmy returned to full health and a productive life....
There are many scriptures we can look to but James 5:16 The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available. Our prayers to God never return back void Tommy He hears them. Of course and the list is endless whatever you need Tommy. These things never make sense Mane. Your baseball brothers surround you with prayer support and strength.
Well said Ted, my heart aches for Tim and your entire family Mane. Tim is a strong man and I pray for him to make a full recovery. Keep the faith and stay positive brother.
Love ya

Tom - I am so sorry to hear this, so sorry for Tim, you and your families. I was lucky enough to meet Tim, and you, when I joined the league in '98, and you both made an instant impression: not only fine players, but outgoing, funny, smart, and plain nice people.
Here's hoping those traits help carry him through his ordeal. I join the others in pulling hard for him.

Thank-you to everyone who responded to Tim
on the BB, and those who have reached out to
me personally. It's tough that I can't visit him
because of COVID. His daughter is the one
assigned to visit.
Received this update from Nicole yesterday.
I just left Sunnyview, all things considered my dad is really doing very well. Obviously we would all like to see him get out of his wheelchair and be able to walk again, and I have full confidence he will do that but in the meantime he just has to continue with his daily three hours of physical therapy. He really is getting stronger by the day though. Right now hes focused on building the strength back up in his hands so that he can use his fingers and be able to do every day things like feed himself or blow his nose. I know its a terrible thing to have happened And I know he has his moments, but overall he has a positive mental attitude and he is in good spirits.
Mane i believe the prayers of your fellow fraternity baseball brothers and everyone who knows you and Timmy were heard in heaven and Timmy is on the way back...not there yet for sure but he is working towards a full recovery which is all of our expectations Tommy. We love you Shawn Beth and the entire family and our prayers will continue until he is healthy again. We are all available to talk pick up anything you need tommy. You know that. Whatever you need we will be there to help. love you brother tp5
Prayers will go up every day until he walks out of Sunny view! Give Tim our best, when you do get a chance to see him! You have all of our love and support, my friend. Hang in there!
