The 55 - Pirates have hit some pre-season misfortune, and have had several players who were committed full time, and now need to step away due to family, work, or season ending injury. We have 3 players recovering from surgery who may not be ready for a while. The Pirates have always enjoyed good depth on the roster, but with some 62s now committed to 62s only, we are now in need of players. We are concerned about maintaining a viable, competitive franchise.
