I spoke with the person responsible for scheduling at Harris Field. They are closing the field June 25. The ball field is the site for Halfmoon's new town hall.
They are cramming the entire babe ruth schedule into the small timeframe they have for Harris field. Therefore, we will not be using Harris Field this year (or ever again).
There is going to be a new baseball facility, with lights, being built in Halfmoon to replace Harris. My intel has it being constructed behind Hayner's Sports Barn and being finished sometime in 2007. With the Hayner's involved, it is likely to be SWEET.
