Here are the results of the 55 Twins-Pirates contest played on the improved B Diamond, although, watch out for that nasty dip in left field. The Twins came out strong scoring 5 in the bottom of the first inning. Things settled down after that with the two teams scoring a total of 7 more runs over the last 6 innings. Final score was 10-2 Twins . Paul Peters led the way for the Pirates with 2 hits and Dominic Carnibucci tagged an opposite field double down the left field line.For the Twins, Charlie Freer, Jeff Whitehead, and Tom King had 2 hits each. King is slowly getting back into baseball after heavy duty heart surgery over the off season. Stefan Koutsakis picked up a full game victory.
