Wayne allowed 7 hits, 1 run, and 2 walks, and had 1 K. The Giants threw Jimmy Kostintokis for 4 and Steve Lounello pitched the last 2 innings.
Twins had 14 hits-Saidenberg 3-3+triple, 3 runs scored,and 2 rbis, Terry McCarthy 3-4+triple, 1 run scored, and 4 rbis, Stefan Koutsakis 2-3+2 runs scored and an rbi, and Jim Edelman 2-3+ 1 rbi and 1 run scored.
Leading the Giants offensive were Mike Clary 2-4 and the hard hitting Shane Quackenbush 2-3.
