For the 3rd time in 4 years, the #1 seed Bombers will face off against the #3 seed Ducks in championship. The Bombers won the first two matchups (2020 and 2021), and last year after Bombers got knocked out 2nd round by the Albany Angels, Ducks won their first championship (2022), now looking to win 2 in a row. But this matchup will be much different than the first two. While Ducks still have veterans like Dan Jones, Bob Murphy, Brian Hoffman, and Joe Campbell, after a few of their older players retired they revamped the team with many good younger Colonie based players, including Steve Martino, Colin Allen, Brandon Baumann and also stud pitcher Dino Ferrarese. And they still have last year's MVP Anthony Mantova and all-star SS Cam Myers. The young "baby" Ducks team led by Jim Bonaparte is revitalized and looking to take down a 2nd championship.
Bombers also had to get younger as most of their former Mets players went up to the 33 division last year. While Bombers maintained their core of younger players like Dan & Pat McGuire, Zach & Eric Agan, Kyle Tedford, John Badalucco and Henry Flint, and their veteran players Will & Nigel Gorman, Josh Wolin, Kevin Hearley and only Mets holdover former MVP and this year MVP candidate Greg Jette, Bombers also had a youth movement and added players like Aaron Delano, John Clayton, Micheal Jurgelon and Chancellor "Chewy" Stubblebine. Bombers also brought the versatile Jon Mueller back into the mix, who has been a key part of the Bombers success this year. Bombers are led by Rick DiJohn and are looking for their 3rd championship. It should be a great series, we encourage everyone to come out to Shuttleworth to watch some great baseball! It may be a drive for some people, but try to make the effort to support the league, itll be worth it! Schedule is below:

Mr.DiJohn Thank you for your break down of the game(s) about to be played. These final teams look to be two formidable foes. Congrats to you and Jimmy for your leadership. I have to giggle when a synopsis comes across with names that I never heard of.(My bad, not them) The only way this great game and great league MABL or CDMSBL, can continue to flourish is by guys like you that get the word out about the quality of play we have in our backyard. The leagues future sounds like its in good hands..
