The Dodgers and Twins locked in a pitching/defensive dual for four innings until the Dodgers scored 6 runs in the 5th to secure a 10 - 2 victory.
While the Dodgers only send one lefty to the plate, the Twins seem to have an endless parade of lefty hitters. Both batters' boxes needed plenty of raking after the contest.
The interesting statistic of the game was that the Dodgers grounded out to the mound six times in the first four innings before correcting our launch angle.
It should be noted that Twins catcher, Charlie Freer, had 3 singles and a BB in 4 plate appearances, 4 stolen bases and threw a runner out at 2B.
