A crime has been committed. Here's what I've uncovered so far.
Apparently, there are eligible players who cannot find a place to play on a 62+ Division team. How can that be? That's disgraceful.
My brothers, that be a crime!
I've played with one of these fellows, and I'll tell you he's better than 75% of the guys in that division. But even if he wasn't all that good, is this any way to treat our most venerable veterans, guys who have played for decades and contributed in so many ways to our wonderful League?
Silly me, I kinda figured that any guy who can still play baseball into his seventies would be sure to find a place to play on a 62+ Division team in our League. But no.
So, I'm going to start a new team for these forgotten veterans. See my next post.
