I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirits as we gear up for another exciting season. I am writing to you today with a special request to assist us in our league's Hall of Fame nominations.
I have been asked by our League President, John Reel, to lead a committee to select distinguished league members for induction into the CDMSBL Hall of Fame. This initiative is not just about recognizing outstanding performance on the baseball field but also about honoring those who have made substantial contributions to the league, exhibited exceptional community service, demonstrated leadership, and have been involved in volunteerism related to league matters and tournament play.
Criteria for Nomination: To ensure that we maintain high standards for this honor, nominees must meet the following criteria:
A minimum of 10 years of participation in the CDMSBL. Significant accomplishments both on and off the baseball field, especially relating to league matters. Active involvement in community service and volunteerism. Leadership qualities and achievements in tournament play. While not mandatory, championship play is also a notable accolade. Call for Nominations: I would like to invite you to help us nominate league members whom you feel are deserving of this honor.
When submitting nominations, please include a brief summary of the candidate's accomplishments, along with any pertinent information that underscores why they should be considered for the Hall of Fame. Your insight and input will be invaluable in ensuring a comprehensive and fair selection process.
Deadline for Submissions: Please submit all nominations to me (Reply directly) by March 10, 2024. This will allow us sufficient time to review all candidates thoroughly and make our selections with due diligence.
This initiative is a fantastic opportunity for us to acknowledge and celebrate the individuals who have not only excelled in the game but have also made significant contributions to our community and the league at large. I am looking forward to your participation and support in this noble endeavor.
