In the words of someone way smarter than me , MONDAY WILL BE THE MOST EXPENSIVE DAY ON THE CALENDAR. Every hot dog , burger, drink, every spin around the lake ,is a debt purchased by others. This is not about who served , that day comes in the fall. This day is to HONOR those who paid in life and blood!whos moms never saw them again, whos dads wept in private , whos wives raised kids alone, and whos kids remember them only through pictures. This isnt simply a day off. This is a day to remember the others who paid for every free breathe you get to take on and off a baseball field.
Everyone have a great holiday weekend. If you run into someone who is active military or a veteran , give them THANKS. Pay for their meal, or express appreciation for their service and I am sure they will appreciate it
