New York State Baseball Hall of Fame Induction/Dinner

My brothers of CD-MSBL - As most of you might be aware, I was gifted with an incredible honor of being selected to the 2024 Class of Inductees into the New York State Baseball Hall of Fame. Never in a million years would I think that I was worthy of such an honor. I am humbled to say the least, particularly when being inducted with Yogi Berra (posthumously), Don Mattingly, and Buck Showalter. Add local products, and CD-MSBL alumni, Brian Sweeney and Curtis Nobles to the class and it seems surreal to me. The Hall has enshrined several CD-MSBL players, like Randy Craft, Fred Pidgeon, and Darnell Baker.

I have had the privilege to manage, and play along side you, (for many several years), in my 28 years in CD-MSBL, as well as umpiring a number of your games.

I would cordially like to invite you to attend the Induction Dinner and Reception, being held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Troy, on November 10, 2024, at 4:00pm. Many of the the Hall of Fame Members will be in attendance, and from my past experience always proves to be an exciting, moving and memorable evening. It is a jacket and tie affair.

The actual Hall is located directly across from historic Parkhurst Field, in Gloversville, NY, and well worth a visit!

Cost of the event is $200 per person, and tickets are going fast, with a sellout expected shortly.

I can handle your tickets via Venmo, @james-dalton-09750,
or by mailing check/bank check to me at :25 Mountainview Terrace,
Rensselaer, NY 12144.

I would be pleased and honored by your presence, which would only make the night that more special to me!

Thank you!
