thunderous claps, thin, jagged lightning moving from left to center to right, rain starting as a drizzle then pouring. the umps were kind enough to wait for about 45 minutes before calling it. we got in 1/3 of an inning, peppers up, 2-0. the pirates haven't played since the first week in may. the peppers haven't won since last year.
