On Jan. 28. 2026 I was inducted to the USBC/Columbia-Greene bowlers association Hall of Fame. This is great honor for me knowing that I am now with some the greatest bowlers. It surprised the heck out of me. I know this not baseball, but I had to mention it, because I know a lot of you bowl in leagues.
Great honor for a great guy. Harold, your tireless behind the scenes work with the CDMSBL website has kept everyone informed and organized for years. When the league comes up with an Unsung Hero award it should be named in your honor.
Harold you amaze me. Congrats. A true honor. I agree with Tim and Jim. So much goes on behind the scenes to continue the growth of CDMSBL and you are a huge part of it. I grew up playing candlepin and didnt ever hear of ten pin bowling. Great achievement Harold.
Congratulations, Harold. I'm sure the award is well and long earned.
Doubtless, you not only flatten those pins, which is no small thing, given all the work you've had to do to stay in shape for baseball, but I suspect you do as much for your bowling league as you do for our baseball league.
Hats off!
-Mike
