On a chilly, yet warm, windy, semi-sunny, partly-cloudy, spring-like but also oddly fall-like...........definitely not swimming weather but also not a North Face jacket weather day.........ya know come to think of it, it was your basic early May pre-dawn, late day/early evening weather kinda day......anyway, the Cubs and NY Giants played a baseball game. The Cubs won 9-3.
Cubs Highlights: - Ron Massaroni pitched 4 innings, giving up 1 unearned run, 5K's (also had a big hit late in the game) - Carlos Espada 3 hits/BB and also had THE defensive play of the game! - Dave Mitchell 2 line-drive hits - Chris Dunn timely 2 out hit early in the game
Giants Highlights: - Joe Krause 2 hard hit singles - Eddie Powell was effective for 4 innings - Jim Davis came in in the 4th w/the bases loaded/no outs w/the heart of Cubs lineup coming up and gave up NO RUNS!
