On a beautiful night for baseball the 55 Yankees and Americans square off at the A Diamond. The night was all About DOUG DUELL!!!! In the 4th inning Duell was having a game for the ages a perfect game through the first 4 innings! It was hot and humid he comes to me between the inning and says I never had a no hitter before I said YOU CANT SAY THAT!!!!while everyone stayed away from Doug and didnt say a word , and I wasnt going to tell him it just wasnt a no hitter it was a perfecto ! He goes if someone gets on base then we can make a switch , i told him keep doing what your doing! Doug ended the night with 5 Ks and 3 1-3 put outs , one which he made a DIVING SNAG that was going up the middle for an hit and threw face down to first base for the out. He had over half the outs of the game! We ended up run ruling so he went 5 innings to a PERFECT GAME!! Congrats brother thats an amazing accomplishment! Yanks win 10-0.
