On a glorious Thursday evening on the most body-friendly baseball field for old guys bodies (A Diamond), the 55 Cubs and Dodgers matched lineups. Tight game (4-3) until the 6th inning when the Cubs added 5 additional runs!
Cubs Highlights: - Darrell Duncan & Ron Massaroni were strike throwing machines - scattered 9 hits (only one walk between them) - P. J. Martone was on fire (2-4). Every ball he hit was roped (our player of the game) - Jerry Rosen 2 hits (exit velo was off the CDMSBL charts) - Carlos Espada 2 hits / 3 stolen bases
Dodgers Highlights: - Harvey Staulters 2 hits - Mark Trinchillo 2 hits (and played a great SS) - Ray Coletta banged a double and threw well for his team!
