In a game that seemed to last about 6 minutes (started at 5:45 and ended at 7:09), the Cubs came away with a win against the tough Twins. Pitching & Defense was the theme for both teams. 12 total hits in the game. Twins three hits all came in one inning.

- Ron Massaroni & Darrell Duncan (our player of the game) were super efficient on the hill (NO walks - when's that ever happen??)
- Bryce Cutler hit a big fly to left center for a triple (a double for most of the league. He fast)
- P. J. Martone placed a double down the leftfield line and singled

Twins
- Steph Koutsakis threw well, keeping Cubs hitters off-balance
- Frank Owens was luckless after hitting the ball well all night (and played a great SS)
