24 guys went to a BBQ and a baseball game broke out!

Randomly and totally unscripted, a bunch of old guys showed up at the Watervliet baseball field wearing baseball uniforms armed with a brand new BBQ grill, tables, knives, forks........prime rib/rib eye steaks, goat chops, hamburgers, hot dogs, sausage and peppers........salads, desserts and even a bevy of "non-alcoholic" beverages.

The Cubs and Dodgers unexpectedly met up behind the fence directly behind home plate at the Watervliet field and haphazardly threw together a good old-fashioned BBQ (oddly, master griller, Pete Geannelis showed up unannounced and manned the flames to perfection). Pete got after it so well that the rising pyrocumulus could be seen as far away as Alberto Canada (right back atchya, Canada)!

Weird all that happened out of the blue : ) Great food, great dudes and a great post-game mixer!

Cubs won the baseball game 12-3
