This was one of those beautiful evenings for baseball that we haven't had enough of lately. MOSHER Field in Ravena is really quite nice. The field was in excellent condition and the setting is idyllic. It looks like the bank in left offers kind of a short porch but that's not really the case. It's a poke to get it up there. The Twins bats were alive banging out 14 hits including a triple by JEFF WHITEHEAD and a double by Jeff Cohen. STEFAN KOUTSAKIS pitched the entire game for the Twins and surrendered six singles to six players on the Americans. Cohen had 3 hits for the Twins while Whitehead, John Reel, Greg Briscoe, and Koutsakis each had 2 hits. A big thank you to Ed Draves for agreeing to help us out for the evening and doing a fine job in the always tough catcher position. Final score, Twins win, 12-2.
