The Cubs defeated the Brewers 13-1 Saturday @ Suny. Mike Girard and Bryce Cutler led the way offensively, while Jon Martin and Tom Shepardson shared mound duties.
Old one-foot Jim Ansel chipped in with a lined single, while gimpy Mash Gadomski also ripped the ball. Both looked terrific breaking up the double play, sort of.
We're still not sure why the Cubbies aren't just playing in the 47 league, as 93.5% of their team qualifies!!!
The Cubs improve to 6- 2. The Brewers fall to 4-6.
We're just a bunch of old farts that still like to play, no matter who it is against. Get us a game against a good Babe Ruth team and we would all be there!
