It turned out to be a very hot and humid day and also a very long day for all.What was supposed to be a baseball game turned into a football game with the Dodgers scoring 3 td's with 3 missed extra points,boy our kicker sucked.Meantime the Yankees came up with 2 td's and a field goal to just fall short of victory.All kidding aside and putting the score aside it was a very entertaining game with a lot of good hitting,and unfortunately a lot of injuries.I dont have the book in front of me to state facts,so I will go with what I know.Nick Kannellis scored about 5 or 6 runs today with a shot at the end of the game that went out to the school buses,Bret Conlin pitched a complete game in brutal weather conditions,Rich Feir played a good second base,making some key plays,Mike LaBarge was excellent behind the plate,I can go on and on with the individual accomplishments,but that would take to long,bottom line it was a team win with excellent and gutsy play all around.Keep up the good work Dodgers.
