just got a heard a phone message from reds manager dennis reuter - he said after playing thursday night he learned his team cannot make our makeup scheduled for monday, 8/14 at the knick.

this would have been a makeup of a makeup: the reds could make a sunday game, we could not.

dennis suggested a cancellation makes sense. i agree & prefer it to a forfeit. -mike
