The Reds force a game 3 with the Jays on Saturday. A well played game by both teams at Bob Moore. A tough night for both teams in the early evening with the lights. I'm not sure if it was just tonight with the dark clouds or it is tough every night. The outfielders had trouble picking up the balls. Ken Zimmer pitched a great game for the Reds before giving up 5 runs in the 5th when Joe Burns came in for relief. The Jays pitcher, Rick Lafrado (sorry if spelled incorrectly) battled the Reds hitters for 6 2/3 inninngs. Game 3 will be 4pm Saturday.
Something to keep in mind for the night games coming up. The lights take 20 minutes to warm up. Once they're warmed up, they generally work quite nicely - not quite MLB quality, but better than I had expected.
