hey, first congrat's to the reds...nice bunch of guys. it took 8 innings for this one. both teams doing what ever to win. fordians tie the game in the in botton 6th to make it 6-6 only to give up 4 runs in the top 8th. fairly played game by both teams that could've gone either way. it was nice to party, both teams just shooting the breeze...my only thing is that in would like if winner in both pools could play against each other just to see what would happen...i know is difficult with getting fields and the time but maybe the board can come up with something if possible. nevertheless, hey its baseball for those who can hang. for us, fellas thanks for the support, fordians will be back....
Congrats to Reds on a well played series.....Game One came down to the bottom of the 7th, and Game Two was an extra inning dog fight. Ken "Zip" Zimmer had to be series MVP, trhowing complete Game One, and then pitching two scoreless relief in Game Two, and of course always a pain in th a-- at bat! Great job Reds!
The Fordians struggled eraly in the season, but proved to be an exceptional bunch of guys who shared the load, knew their roles, and checked egos at the parking lot. They never quit. I especially want to thank Don McCann for taking the reins mid-season, and steering the Fordians to their late season success!
Alway hate that last game of the season............
I would like to second the vote for D-Mac for Manager of the year. We were 2-14-1 and there was never any negitive things said by anyone on our team. We played and party just as much on our first win as our 14th loss. I would like to say thanks to all the players on our TEAM and that is what we were a TEAM. I would not have wanted to play for any other team then this one. I would like to say Congrats to the Reds it was a great dog fight. Well see you all next year. if you are playing Labor Day Weekend I will see you there oneway or another. Once again Great Season TEAM.
