The Cubs, under Jim "Torre" McQuade, captured their 9th division title in the last 10 years with a 7-2 victory over the Pirates Sunday.
Shaun Maney's bases loaded double broke open a close game, and Jonny Martin went the distance on the mound. Jim Ansel also chipped in with a couple of hits.

Average age of a "28+ Cub" is somewhere around 45. I'm proud to be associated with these guys. They all play ball "the right way"! They respect and love the game. Each week is just another excuse to get together with a bunch of guys who really all like each other, and are doing something that we never want to give up. Watch out for these seasoned veterans come playoff time!
