Incredible ending to an unbelievable season as the Cubs score three runs in the bottom of the seventh to take the title in our inaugural season in the 37+ division. Very special year for our club and to be so fortunate to win a Championship is beyond words. The parity in the division this year was remarka...

Thanx to Jimmy Preller and the folks at Twin Town Little League who gave the LLers from Rensselaer a place to play some fall ball.
I know this means a lot to 10-12-year-olders and our appreciation and gratitude can't be expressed enough.

More Giants stuff ...
(Preview)
Many managers have said that managing is a pain in the butt. For most of them, they are right. Lots of time and work off the field as well as on. The paperwork alone is enough to make you hope someone talks you off the ledge, not to mention collecting money, etc., etc., etc.
I wrote a letter in late March th...

A despicable display by umpire Jim Fitzgerald!!!
(Preview)
I didn't want to ruin the congratulatory tone of my post for the Giants regarding the game last night, so I decided to make a seperate post here. Something needs to be done about barring Jim Fitzgerald from umpiring our games ever again. Every time this guy umpires there is angst because he is so antagon...

My apologies to Jim Fitgerald, the umpires, and the CDMSBL!!!
(Preview)
It has been pointed out to me that I need to apologize for two reasons:
1) The characteriztions of Mr. Fitzgerald that I added to my post were childish and offensive. For this I offer no excuse. It was wrong and I am embarrassed by the childish nature of it and am sorry for it.
2) This is not the forum for su...
