The combined Hornets/Orioles/Giants defeated the Marlins 8-4 behind the stellar pitching of Bob Bolt and timely hitting of Al Wolfer to advance to Monday's title game of the Labor Day tournament.
The HOGs lost to Mass. in their first game Saturday, then beat the Peppers to enter Sunday 1-1.
HOGs then avenged the loss to Mass., beating them 3-1 behind Mike Maiello before topping the Marlins.
