On a hot, hot humid afternoon, the Dodgers came out to play some b-ball against Blue Thunder for the first time this season. Behind to 5-hit pitching of Rich Garbarino, the timeliness of of Kevin McDonald, who executed a suicide squeeze play to drive in the winning run in the botton of the sixth, the Thunder squeeked out a 6-5 victory. Thank you to the Dodgers who never gave up and played a terrific game of true sportsmenship - as it should be. The game was a see-saw battle with 3 lead changes. Thanks again Dodgers, for a terrific game on a hot, humid day. Hats off to Ed Rogers who has continued to build a team of fine players since taking over the team last year. This is truly a great season so far and truly a highly competetive division. See you Dodgers on 8/02/07. Wish it was more often. Bob Lounsbury, General Manager of Blue Thunder
