Don't know the final score (cooler related memory loss), but the Pirates entered the 6th inning with a 5 run lead. The Cubs came up with 5 in the bottom of the sixth and one more in the bottom of the 7th to cap a stirring comeback. The winning rally was started with a walk to Mike Girard (rare indeed), followed by a steal of second base (even more rare). Jon Martin capped the rally with a sinking liner over the infield to score the winning run. The win keeps the Cubbies one game in front of the Brewers for the Mohawk Division lead.
The Cubs are playing great ball right now, and they have to to stay ahead of a much improved Brewers squad. Should be a fun race to watch the rest of the season.
Both teams play with a lot of class, so good luck to both the Cubs and the Brewers!
