what a great day at the park. good to see families supporting their Dad's and husbands. whatever your age never take this opportunity and their support for granted.
On this Fathers day I would like to honor the many Dad's who play in the CDMSBL. May your kids see the joy you get from this game and the good character that can be expressed thru the competition and comraderie.
47 Cougars and Whiz, thanks for that spirit. Frank the high fives led by your kids...priceless! And thanks to my teammates on the Goldens and the Silvers. Its been a good day. the score hardly matters.

For most of us, playing baseball remains a passion - that was evidenced by all the dads out there yesterday playing their hearts out... however, it was disconcerting that no umpires showd up at Voorhesville High School for either game of the doubleheader. There is a notice on the main page of the web site that the games were moved to the high school but did someone forget to tell the umps? Insomuch as no umps showed for either game, I'm hoping this isn't something bigger than just a lack of communication between individulas. Not sure how many other games this year have not had umpires, but this is does not fair well for the league. Can someone please tell me what happened and what has to be done to insure it doesn't happen again?
