Darrell Duncan pitched 6 innings, giving up 1 run and striking out 12 to lead the WhizKids. Anthony Torre had a 2-out, 2-run single to highlight a 3-run 3rd inning for the victors. Jim Hayden pitched well for the Thunder in going the distance, and Rich Garbarino had 2 hits to lead the offense. The teams split the season series 1-1.
